Terms of Service

Last updated November 5, 2026

The short version

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Swish Ledger ("Swish Ledger," "we," "us") for using the Swish Ledger website at swishledger.com and the Swish Ledger app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Swish Ledger for a school, club or league, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Accounts

Your teams and content

Rosters, schedules, stats, notes, logos and other material you or your scorekeepers add (your "Content") stay yours. You give Swish Ledger permission to store, copy, process and display your Content only as needed to run the Service. That includes showing it to your scorekeepers and, if you turn on public view, to anyone with your team's link. This permission ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies already shared publicly by others or kept as our Privacy Policy describes.

You confirm you have the right to add your Content, including any logos you upload, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights. We don't claim ownership of your Content and don't sell it.

Player information

Most players tracked in Swish Ledger are students, and many are minors. If you add players, you agree to:

We may remove a player's information if a parent, guardian or player asks us to, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Rules for using Swish Ledger

Don't:

We may remove Content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans and pricing

Swish Ledger has two plans, chosen separately for each team.

Features may change as we improve the Service. If we remove a major Pro feature you're paying for, we'll tell you, and you can cancel for a prorated refund of the unused time. Data from games you've recorded is kept if a team moves from Pro to Free. Pro-only views come back if the team returns to Pro.

Billing and renewal

Cancellation

You can cancel a team's subscription at any time. Open the team's Roster page, go to Plan, then Manage billing, and cancel. You won't be charged again. The team keeps Pro until the end of the year you've already paid for, then moves to the free plan. You can turn renewal back on in Manage billing before then. A team with an active subscription can't be deleted until the subscription is canceled.

Refunds

Ending your use

You can stop using Swish Ledger and delete your account at any time from My teams → Account → Delete my account. Deleting your account permanently deletes the teams you own and their data. Download any PDF reports you want to keep first.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. Unless there's a legal or safety reason not to, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your data. If we close an account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of any Pro subscription. If we ever shut down the Service, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused prepaid time.

Disclaimers and limits

Stats are recorded by people. Swish Ledger shows whatever your scorekeepers record, and we don't check that it's correct. Swish Ledger isn't an official scorebook, and it shouldn't be used for official records, eligibility or recruiting decisions without checking against the official book.

The Service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep Swish Ledger running, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted, for example if a gym has no internet connection. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limits on liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Swish Ledger won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity. If someone makes a claim against us because of Content you added or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
